BIRCH Studio & Gallery is a queer-owned, artist-led space in Hamilton Square, Birkenhead offering friendly artist studios and a bright art gallery/events space in a gorgeous grade listed building right outside the Hamilton Square merseyrail stop. BIRCH champions contemporary art and community building with their lively programme of exhibitions, socials, workshops & events, with focus on being a safe & active space for the queer creatives of Merseyside.

Like many old buildings in the Liverpool city region, BIRCH is accessed slightly up from the street level by 5 steps, so may not be accessible for people with limited mobility. A ramp is available for building entrance access, however their only bathrooms are accessed via a staircase
